Barcelona!!

Oh my God. Ok, I have a ton of pictures but I can't post them yet, so I will when I can!



Anyway, Barcelona is AH-MAY-ZING. I don't have the slightest idea of how I'm gonna be expected to leave (but I'll deal with that when I get to it haha!).
I'm staying with my cousin John, who is SO funny! We're really having a great time- he has 4 cats, which my allergies are taking surprisingly well!
I got here Friday night, met up with John, and took a walk near his apartment (he lives about 15 mins walking from the Mediterranean-amazing)- Saturday we got some breakfast and I explored around, Sunday we took a walk in Montjuic in the gardens, which are beautiful, and Monday I went to La Sagrada Familia (I cried a bit, it's just incredible) and La Pedrera, and helped John with translation, and Tuesday (today) I went to Parc Guell (also very amazing) and now I'm in John´s translation office, just updating a bit!

La Sagrada Familia is a beautiful unfinished church that the artist Gaudi started (its expected to be done in 2040 something hahaha!) and he also made the Parc Guell, which is a huge, popular garden. I can explain a little more later (or you can look it up lol), and La Pedrera- a really awesome building with no straight lines.

The architecture of Barcelona in general is also very beautiful- the wrought iron on balconies, decoration on the sides of buildings, bay windows on buildings-everything has its own special touch! There are so many amazing shops, and sights, and people, and I´ve just barely started looking around! OK, so when I can I´ll get some pictures on here, just wanted to let you know I´m doing well and having a great time, John says "hi!" and I´ll write more later! Besos y abrazos!
