Here are some of my Cuzco photos- Cuzco was probably my favorite city visited in Peru, for the combination of Spanish and Incan architecture- very very cool! Also, Cuzco had a lot of interesting sights, great artisan markets and delicious food! Stayed here 2 days before our Machu Picchu hike in a really cool old hostel with a nice courtyard (and a great shower lol)- lots of people were coming and going from Machu Picchu, so it was nice to share stories and tips before leaving- anyway, hope you enjoy them!
Main Square in Cuzco
Cuzco's Cathedral
The "Paro," or workers' strike- wasn't dangerous, but interesting to watch!
Main square fountain at night
Me at one of the many Inca walls- still standing, with no mortar, after 500 years!
Beautiful flowers near the Koricancha Cathedral
Me and the famous 12-sided stone at an Inca wall
One of many artisan markets
On the train to Machu Picchu!
More from Machu Picchu!
Love,
Rach :)
